Head of institute, accompanied delegation meet prominent figures in Iraq
Dr. Ali Komsari, head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works along with an accompanied delegation has travelled to Iraq.
The delegation, on a cultural visit, will find to ways to promote Imam’s dynamic thought and ideals for young generation at home and abroad.
The delegation, consists of directors and managers of the institute has already met cultural and academic figures and head of the libraries and seminaries.
In the most recent meetings, they met Abu-Kholah, the head of Imam Khomeini’s seminary and al-Hashmemi, who runs al-Gurrah institute in order to discuss ways to convey Imam’s message to devotees on international stage.
Dr. Komsari earlier briefed Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini, the leader representative, about efforts the institute had undertaken to emancipate thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
Commenting on the current challenges facing the Muslim world, Ayatollah Hosseini said that “what was happening in the besieged Gaza strip is very painful for the entire Muslim Ummah."
He added that the origin and foundation of the "Islamic resistance" has deeply been rooted in Islamic Revolution and ideals of Imam Khomeini.
Ahead of visit to Iraq, Hojjat al-Islam Dr.Ali Komsari said that our new approach is to increase interaction with different institutions and departments in order to promote works and ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
Dr. Komsari said that we had defects regarding coordination in the past, but in new era we must move towards maximum interaction.
We must expand coordination with relevant units in order to introduce Imam’s works, thought and ideals to young generation, he said.
“It is because Imam does not belong to a certain or institution or a faction, but belongs to everyone,” he said.
