The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic says that Imam restored the spirit of rule of law to the society and bring about great changes in contemporary era.
Addressing an international summit at Imam’s holy shrine on Wednesday, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that Imam also wanted to revive the real spirit and message of Quran to the Muslim society and the entire humanity.
He went onto say that reciting Quran and publishing its copies are tasks of great significance, but the real task is to comprehend the spirit and message of the Holy Scripture.
The summit titled “The holy Quran in Imam Khomeini’s thought and life-style” was attended by scholars and intellectuals from across Iran and globe.
The internationally-reputed scholar went onto say that the Islamic Revolution under Imam's leadership had been inspired and was closely associated with geniune teachings of Quran.
We have learned it from Imam that all tasks and jobs should be carried out just for pure divine sake, he added.
According to Imam Khomeini, , the holy book of Quran is like a divine table spread everywhere from the East to the West, is a book used from the Revelation to Doom"s day by all men; Layman, learned man, philosopher, mystic, Jurisprudent, etc.

The Quran is a man-cultivating book, active man’s book, it is the book of human, a book that guides men from here to the end of the universe and beyond.
