A memorial service to mark the first death anniversary of the great lady of Islamic Revolution will be held exclusively for women in the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini.
Women members of Imam Khomeini household will attend the ceremony.
The Imam Khomeini Memorial Headquarters issued a statement on the ceremony, Jamaran News Base reported.

The first death anniversary of the great lady of the Islamic Revolution and respected wife of founder of Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (SA), Mrs Khadijeh Saghafi is a chance for all, especially women to become familiar with different aspects of the life of a committed, devoted and revolutionary woman who lived besides Imam with love, kindness, responsibility, patience and resistance. She was a source of endless blessings for Imam and the nation's of Imam. This also gives women a chance to consider commemoration of the great lady as equal to commemoration of values and teachings of Islam and true Shia. A ceremony will be held exclusively for women in the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini and beside the tomb of the late lady. Women member of Imam Khomeini household will participate in the ceremony.
