Dr. Ali Komsari, head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works says that serious efforts should be undertaken to introduce the spiritual and academic personality of the late founder of the Islamic Republic to youth and young generation.

The reputed scholar said that efforts should be made to protect the thought and character of the Imam from distortion.

"Some people are raising doubts about the Imam out of stubbornness." he said. 

Hojjat al-Islam Komsari warned against distorting Imam Khomeini's dynimic thought and ideals by saying: "The more heavenly this thought is, the greater the risk of distortion, false or wrong interpretations."

"This is also an obvious and completely proven matter. The holy book of Qur'an, which is our divine book, is subject to spiritual interpretations and there are wrong comprehension. What about the thoughts of thinkers and historical events," he asked.

"Because in any case, every thought, thinker and great historical event is subject to distortion and deviation; This is an indisputable truth," he emphasized. 

“Even though contemporary events are recorded and have audio and video, there are many spiritual distortions,” Dr. Komsari sai, adding, “Imam was a thinker who lived in a historical period and now he has been gone for more than three decades.”

He further said: “Although Imam’s works are now in written form and are being protected with untiring efforts the institute which was founded by Imam’s son Haj Seyyed Ahmad Agha. So Imam’s works have been protected from verbal distortion, but the risk of spiritual distortion still does exist.”

Dr. Komsari called for following line and footsteps of Imam to keep this thought and character safe from distortion.

 Elesewhere in his remarks, Hojjat al-Islam Komsari also draw attention towards the necessity of narrating the thought, life and even places related to the Imam is a very serious discussion.
