Seyyed Hassan Khomeini in a message has strongly denounced the Israeli attack on Iran's largest consulate in Syria.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that attacks on Iranian advisors in Syria as well as on our scientists though have not been unprecedented, but the latest aggressive act against diplomatic mission and consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus has violated all existing international norms and laws.
The statement stressed that the attack constitutes “a flagrant violation” of all the foundations of international law, including the Vienna Convention that guarantees the safety of diplomatic and consular places.
He further stated that the attack also shows Israeli desperation due to its consecutive failures during the Tel Aviv regime’s military campaign on the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza.
The world public opinion has now turned against Israel and the entity has now become desperate and isolated on international stage and arena.
Elsewhere in his message, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said this e aggressive Israeli act undoubtedly needs an appropriate and deterrent response that can upset the equations of the criminal Israeli regime.
He also extended his condolence for families of those senior officers and advisors who were martyred in the Israeli strike.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei earlier said brave Iranian men will "punish" Israel and make the evil regime "regret" its crime of assassinating the country's military advisors in Syria.
